MEET FRANCHESCA
I’m Franchesca Barba, RA, AIA, founder and principal architect of Emerald City Architects. I work with homeowners and small-business owners throughout Seattle and surrounding communities to turn early ideas into thoughtful, permit-ready projects.
Many projects begin with uncertainty—what is feasible, how zoning and code may affect the design, or how to make the best use of an existing space. I provide clear guidance from the first conversation through design, permitting, and construction documentation so you can move forward with confidence.
As a small practice, every project receives direct principal involvement, careful coordination, and practical attention to budget, buildability, and how the space will actually be used.
